<what
is waitingroom?>
waitingroom
is a small gallery space located in an apartment in Sangenjaya,
Tokyo.
We will introduce and exhibit emerging artists in Japan and also from abroad.
There
is a reason why we named our gallery, waitingroom.
"waitingroom" is a place where people wait for the time as well as
a place for the encounter. We would like to support the artists who are waiting
for the time, letting them meet new people and opportunities. We wish that our
gallery, waitingroom, is going to be a place for the new encounters.
It is a
small gallery space, however, we would like to introduce the
work which offers a contrasting touch of art to our everyday
life.
